Australia will be blessed this summer as the Church Grooves maestro, Internationally renowned Kwaito & House powerhouse, OSKIDO, arrives on Septemeber 23 for his first ever tour on Ozzie soil ahead of his tour dates starting in Melbourne at The Motel, South Melbourne on Friday the 25th of September 2009 .The Godfather of South Africa's dance music scene needs no introduction to house fans especially from the Southern hemisphere. He has become a legend through his remarkably genuine talent and authenticity that comes naturally.The Johannesburg based hit maker is revered by his peers as one of a rare breed of DJs. The Big "O" as he is affectionately known is also one of South Africa's most popular radio personalities having taken YFM's Rap Activity Jam with Rudeboy Paul for a while and now hosting Church Grooves, a bumping grooveathon on Sunday nights. Oskido, Oscar Mdlongwa, who spent the early part of his childhood in Zimbabwe, Bulawayo's Luveve suburb, not only dominates the South African music industry but is it's heartbeat. It has been stated that if he stopped what he was doing today, " the impact would be felt at the Stock Exchange".
